What to see 旅游景点

Stonehouse in Shitang Township 石塘镇石屋

Shitang is famous for its unique style of stone houses and stone streets, giving this ancient fishing village a unique character more akin to the Mediterranean coast, than China. Combined with the nearby harbor, golden sandy beach, clystal clear sea, and the nurmous nearby islands, makes Shitang a truly magical and idyllic place.

Fangshan, Table Mountain 方山景区

This spectacular mountain dominates the landscape and its rough, rocky edges are contrasted on top by gentle slopes, lush pine tree forests and a breathtaking lake which cascades down one side of the mountain as a large waterfall. Indeed the whole area is dominated by craters, volvanic  landforms, canyons and peaks, all overlooked by the surging east China sea.

Changyu Dongtian Cave World (Cave Concert Hall)  长屿硐天(+ 岩洞音乐厅)

This is listed as a world geopark, and what makes it the more incredible is that it has been chiseled by human hands since the Nanbei dynasty, over 1400 years ago, but still maintains a very natural and inspiring charm.

Covering an area of 17km with a total of 1,314 caves, this area is a breathtaking spectacle. For a concert with a different try the cave concert hall, which arguably is the most unique and spectacular concert hall in the world.
